YouTube Channel

OK peeps,

Our YouTube Channel is set up now.  If you want to share the address for people to look at your stuff, the address is: http://www.youtube.com/user/OccupiedCSCLakeview

To upload your films and animations, go to YouTube, click up the top right where it says Sign In and then type in the username and password, which is, username: occupiedproductions@gmail.com and password: carolinesprings11

Once logged in, click on the "Upload" link up the top right, near where the sign in link was.

Once on the next page, click on the "Upload" button and go and choose the clip from your computer.

Remember, this channel is ONLY for you guys to upload your Media animations and films.  Not for putting up random stuff and not for putting up anything inappropriate.  Even though it's YouTube and in the public domain, you still MUST treat it as a school site.

Because there is only one log-in for the channel, you will have the ability to delete other people's work.  DO NOT DO THIS.  Be respectful of everybody's work up there.  This is a supportive and collaborative space, so treat it as such.

When uploading your clips, make sure you put your full name in the description box for the clip, so I know whose it is and also add a brief plot synopsis (story outline) of what your film/animation is about.  About as short as you would have written for the back cover of your DVD covers.

Uploading clips to YouTube, particularly large files, can be very slow, so you may need to be patient.  If I'm uploading a clip that's near or above 1GB in size, I'll often leave it uploading overnight, cos it can take up to 6 or more hours to upload.
